Job Description


The PFS Network Engineer will operate and maintain all networks & associated connected devices at all the primary operating field locations including the Continental US, Alaska, Greenland, and other temporarily connected field sites. Travel is expected up to 20% of the time in multi-week increments, likely to sites in Alaska and Greenland. These deployments occur in remote locations where the work often occurs outdoors. This position requires discretion and judgement with excellent customer service skills. Often, this position will rely on remote technical support from colleagues, in other locations. The Engineer will be based at PFS headquarters in Littleton, CO working alongside other Battelle ARO and PFS program team members and will report to the PFS IT&C Manager in Littleton, CO. Regular communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders is required. The ideal candidate will love to travel; be a good communicator, active problem-solver, comfortable with logistical and technical challenges; and enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
