SUMMARY:

The Realty Archiving/Map Tech shall be responsible for the successful completion of the following:



The organization and scanning of all Realty records. Assisting community members with pandemic related woodcutting requests for home wood burning in the cold months, for funerals and ceremonies. Organizing the wood cutter task list and communicating the number of orders to the Realty Director weekly. Will create a written record and map of the graves at the Omaha Tribal Cemetery, on Omaha lands and identified on any project sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

:

Scan all Realty records in a methodical manner, trading the percentage of job completed vs percentage of job remaining. Communicate the wood cutting policy to the public. Assist community members with valid requests for wood. Willing to travel to the cemetery, other tribal lands, and project sites as necessary to document any graves identified. Create a map of all identified graves at the Omaha Tribal cemetery/cemeteries. Create a map for tribal lands and project sites. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and proficiently. Must have experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, etc. Must be familiar or have knowledge of GIS software and applications. Must be able to attend required training and apply that Information to the tasks required to successfully implement the records digitizing, assisting with map creation and administering wood cutting applications as required. A strong work ethic and ability to work well alone with little supervision is required. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or (GED) preferred; Experience & proficiency in Microsoft office suite preferred but not required.
