Job Description

The Office of Multifamily Housing is looking for a dedicated Architecture & Construction Section Chief (Administrative Staff) who will:

  • Supervise & manage architectural review & construction monitoring staff who evaluate all housing development projects approved by OHFA.
  • Work with agency legal counsel to review housing development project documents.
  • Maintain & update OHFA's Design & Architectural Standards.
  • Make presentation to management, OHFA Board members & program users.
  • Attend groundbreakings, grand openings & other events as agency spokesperson.

Employees in this position are required to report to OHFA's offices which are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.
Qualifications
The Office of Multi-Family Housing is seeking an Architecture & Construction Section Chief (Administrative Staff) with the following work experience & education:
  • Licensed Architect
  • AND three years' work experience in Architecture which included affordable housing;
AND two years' work experience in supervision*.
*Note: The State of Ohio counts lead work as equivalent experience to supervision.
