Nicklaus Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to join our multidisciplinary engineering and architectural team in Yuma, Arizona. We are looking for a highly organized, self-directed individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to contribute to a variety of new construction and renovation projects for commercial, municipal, and federal clients. In this role, you will work closely with Project Architects and Designers to prepare Revit and AutoCADdrawings that meet company standards. Essential Functions:

------------------------

Set up drawings in alignment with company standards. Assist in developing architectural designs such as conceptual layouts, building plans, and presentation exhibits. Prepare preliminary and final construction documents using Revit and architectural detailing. Construct 3-D virtual models for design visualization and rendering. Update drawings based on design modifications, redlines, and reviewer comments. Assemble plan sets for agency submittals in both PDF and hard copy formats. Perform spell-checking, cross-referencing, quality control, and revision tracking. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5 years of Revit experience preferred. Experience with Photoshop, SketchUp, and rendering software is a plus. Strong proficiency in all MS Office software. Candidates pursuing architectural licensure are encouraged to apply. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, manage diverse tasks, and meet deadlines. Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational and time management skills with abilities to multitask and complete various assignments at once.

Education and Experience:

Completion of a two- to three-year college program in architectural technology or related field, or an undergraduate degree in architecture. 3+ years of experience preferred working with an A/E design firm preparing design and construction documents.

License and Certification Requirements:
