SUMMARY:
A subject matter expert, client consultant, and internal resource, this position will serve as the key knowledge source in evaluating client needs, providing recommendations, and monitoring project requirements for Architectural Solutions (Arch Solutions) products.


Architectural Solutions products can stand alone or complement traditional construction, creating a sustainable solution of prefabricated wall systems, visual and acoustical privacy options, along with a variety of accessories to allow for flexibility in meeting client needs now and into the future.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the key knowledge source and technical specialist for evaluating client needs, providing recommendations, and client solutions for Arch Solutions projects. Lead the Arch Solutions team strategy, promoting an in-depth understanding of demountable wall systems and other Arch Solutions products. Provide consultative support both internally and externally for Arch Solutions projects. This will include visiting jobsites and attending client meetings to gain a full understanding of the project details. Partner with SBI sales & design staff as a resource for guidance and expertise during the client discovery and planning process. Understand project labor costs and the various influences, becoming fluent in the estimation of product and labor costs of projects. Assist in the creation of project plans, the development of proposals, and presentation information to ensure an optimal plan is provided for clients and business partners. Review project plans and maintain a high level of understanding to drive accuracy throughout Arch Solutions projects. Collaborate with SBI Project Management and consult with external project partners to create appropriate timelines and schedules. Maintain a high level of engagement with manufacturers of Arch Solutions products portfolio, leveraging resources and manufacturer provided tools. Consistent involvement in networking opportunities, activities, and organizations within the community. Coordinate and manage General Contractor software for plan review of potential projects. Continually research industry trends and identify additional product solutions and efficient technology solutions related to Arch Solutions in order to drive efficiency and elevate SBI offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management preferred. Commensurate experience: or equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience involving customer facing interior construction, preferably in commercial environments. Technical competence and a skilled problem-solver who can think quickly. Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction trades in a lead capacity. Significant knowledge of construction documents, architectural drawings, code regulations, and construction contracts. Assertive, proactive, and professional demeanor with well-developed and effective communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications and an understanding of software applications used in the construction, architecture, and design industry, such as, AutoCAD, Revit, and Procore, is preferred. Well-developed communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. * Ability to exercise sound judgement and communicate effectively internally and externally.
