Architectural Drafter

(4+ years experience required)

TDI Associates is looking for an energetic individual to fulfill an Architectural Drafter position with four or more years of experience. This position is a great opportunity to work in a flexible and friendly environment. The position would collaborate with our team of architects to develop designs for our commercial and residential construction projects.

This position is mostly REMOTE with occasional in-person meetings and site visits throughout SE Wisconsin; therefore applicants need to located in the area.

This position would be ideal for someone who is looking to become a registered architect.

Qualifications

Education to include: A post-secondary degree in drafting, engineering, or related field or a bachelor's degree in drafting & design Computer competency to include at least 3years using AutoCAD as well as Photoshop and Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Teams for meetings). Revit experience is also a plus. Be well versed in architectural blueprint reading and able to develop a full drawing sets in AutoCAD. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and can work well both independently and as part of a team

This position is responsible for:

Providing architectural support to lead architects by starting custom projects or making changes to existing plans in AutoCAD. Assistance in building code research. Assistance in researching building products or materials Attending and participating in departmental meetings and training as required Project support including existing plan measurements and calculations Job site visits in SE Wisconsin to measure project sites and existing buildings. Performing special projects as requested by various team members. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management may deem necessary from time to time
