New Peak Construction/New Peak Homes is a quality-driven builder specializing in custom single-family homes, multi-family developments, and commercial projects throughout Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming. We prioritize accuracy and proactive communication across all phases of our projects. We are hiring an Architectural Drafter skilled in Revit to draft and produce architectural plans, complete plan revisions, prepare permit and construction-ready drawing sets, and maintain organized documentation and version control.
Position Overview
We are hiring a mid-level Revit Drafter who can produce construction-ready architectural drawings that align with real-world building practices. You will translate design direction, redlines, and field notes into precise, code-compliant plans. This position is in-office working directly with project managers, superintendents, estimating, and engineering to ensure drawings support efficient construction in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Develop complete architectural construction document sets in Revit for custom residential, multi-family, and light commercial projects.
Produce and revise floor plans, elevations, roof and foundation plans, sections, detail sheets, and schedules.
Apply redlines and updates efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, engineers, truss designers, and suppliers.
Upload revisions and manage version history using JobTread.
Assist with permit submittals and code compliance coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred); those actively pursuing a degree or with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other BIM/VDC tools.
2+ years of Revit drafting experience producing full construction document sets.
Strong understanding of construction documents and building systems
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prior construction industry experience preferred.
Understanding of wood framing, architectural assemblies, and plan coordination.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple active projects.
In-office availability required.
