Job Summary

The Architectural Design Technician/Project Coordinator will assist the architecture team with technical plan production, project coordination, and modeling throughout the design and construction document phases. The Project Coordinator / Architectural Design Technician will work closely with the project team and be a key support for the preparation of CAD/REVIT drawings and specifics related to the project(s). This will require focusing on the plan production which will include managing and coordinating with lead staff on the production and development of plan sets.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare design, sketches, and drawings for project general development.
  • Meet and collaborate with members of the design team to review design intent and design scopes during plan production
  • Collect information on the design requirements for projects, interpret and apply building code requirements and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Prepare and review CAD/REVIT models with the project team to make modifications as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage file systems related to CAD/REVIT and drawing production.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architectural design related field
  • Basic understanding of building design and processes
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CAD or REVIT software systems
  • Previous experience in design preferred
