Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architectural Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the coordination of architectural projects from conception through completion, ensuring seamless communication between design, construction, and client teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural drafting, project management, and construction processes, with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The Architectural Design Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management to deliver high-quality architectural solutions efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate architectural project workflows, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets Collaborate with designers to develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD Manage project documentation including contracts, project organization, and revisions to plans Utilize Bluebeam for document review and markups Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams Support construction management activities such as site visits, and Zoom calls Coordinate project scheduling using project management tools; monitor deadlines and deliverables Contribute to design of projects by providing drafting support and conceptual sketches Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety protocols, and contractual obligations

Experience

Proven experience in architectural project coordination or related roles within the architecture or construction industry Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, and Bluebeam preferred Familiarity with a verity of residential projects Excellent drafting skills with a solid understanding of CAD standards and building codes Experience in business development activities such as proposal writing or client presentations is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
