Pappageorge Haymes Partners (PH) is a leading design and planning firm focused on architecture for a broad range of clients within the multifamily residential, adaptive reuse, mixed-use, hospitality and master planning sectors across the country. PH is seeking Architectural candidates with experience ranging from entry level, mid level to senior management, who is looking to join our dynamic and growing team in Chicago. This position allows for the flexibility of working remote and from the office. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the team, seeing a project from schematic design through completion of construction and building a strong repeat client base to support organizational growth. Responsibilities:

• Participates in conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project
• Performs analyses of design, planning, occupancy studies and design layouts
• Responsible for specific technical design solutions to meet the clients needs
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques
• Provides consultation in the planning, design and coordination of small to large projects
• Carries out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
• Responsible for planning, developing and executing technical documentation
• Work with consultants from schematic design through design development and contract document phases
• Perform construction administration duties including conducting on-site observations, preparation of observation reports, and responding to RFIs and submittals
• Participate in marketing efforts and may assist with presentations to prospective clients
• Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
• May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects

Job Requirements:

• Completed a five-year architectural degree or Masters in Architecture
• Licensed Architect or is on path to licensure
• Experience at all levels welcome (Entry level, Mid-level and Senior level)
• Professional experience in medium to large scale multi-unit residential, commercial, retail and/or mixed-use project types
• Understanding zoning and building code regulations
• Proficient in BIM / 3D Modeling software
• Has strong technical and graphic skills
• Possess creativity, self-discipline, strong leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
