We are looking for an Architect to join our team and help develop building projects. You will handle everything from initial concepts to detailed construction plans, ensuring designs meet client needs and follow regulations. This role offers the chance to create functional, beautiful spaces while working with other professionals to deliver great results.
Duties
Plans and design structures such as residences, commercial buildings and other structural properties in accordance with environmental safety and building regulations. .
Lead project planning efforts by creating accurate project schedules, budgets, and construction estimates to ensure timely delivery within financial parameters.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams through effective negotiation and communication to align project goals and resolve issues efficiently.
Manage all phases of construction management and renovation projects, overseeing site visits, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications using Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and permit submissions.
Utilize Bluebeam for markup reviews, document management, and collaboration across project teams.
Analyzes proposed site factors and uses designs, maps, graphs, tracings and diagrams to illustrate findings.
Inspects project site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design and engineering plans and specification.
Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collection data, applying knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics.
Lead project management efforts by tracking progress through project scheduling tools and ensuring adherence to deadlines. .
Skills
Applicants must have Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field and 24 months post baccalaureate verifiable work experience in Architecture or Engineering..
Excellent project scheduling capabilities with experience.
Skilled in negotiation tactics for contracts and stakeholder engagement to foster positive relationships.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permit procedures relevant to diverse project types.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, consultants, and team members across all project phases.
Ability to draft detailed drawings and specifications that meet technical standards while maintaining creative vision.
Familiarity with CAD drafting standards for accurate documentation of architectural details.
