Southern Nevada Family Medicine and Southern Nevada Occupational Health Center are looking for an experienced

Medical Biller and AR Specialist

with a strong background in

Medicare Advantage

and

HCC coding.

Position Summary



The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of

Medicare Advantage billing, HCC coding, and accounts receivable management.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate billing processes, managing AR follow-ups, resolving denials, and communicating updates directly with the

Director of Operations

and

Chief Medical Officer.

Responsibilities



Process and submit accurate Medicare Advantage claims Monitor and manage AR aging, denials, and payment posting Apply HCC coding to ensure compliance and accurate reimbursement Collaborate with insurance payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies Communicate billing updates and insights to management Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and help the department grow




Qualifications



Minimum of two years of medical billing and AR experience (Medicare Advantage required) Strong understanding of HCC codes and claims management Experience with denial management and account reconciliation Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-oriented mindset Experience with EHR systems preferred
