Overview

We are seeking an Apprentice Plumber (1-4th year) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in various plumbing systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Apprentice will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. New Construction Experience Residential & Light Commercial Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues. Thread pipes and ensure proper fittings are used for installations. Collaborate with construction teams on new projects, ensuring compliance with building codes. Execute basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. Assist in carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs. Lift heavy materials as required during installations or repairs. Maintain a clean work environment on construction sites.

Skills

Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience with pipe threading techniques and equipment. Competence in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Previous field service experience is an asset. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
