Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within a construction environment. The ideal candidate will develop foundational skills in plumbing systems, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities

Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial sites Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools safely and effectively Support the setup and assembly of plumbing components according to project specifications Participate in field service tasks including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing routine inspections Aid in pipe fitting, threading, and installation activities under supervision Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites Assist with cleaning, organizing tools, materials, and work areas to maintain efficiency

Qualifications

General Plumbing experience in service and repair or familiarity with plumbing is preferred. Basic knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with construction site environments Experience or training in construction and service plumbing, or remodeling is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing or HVAC systems is a plus Mechanical knowledge including understanding of pipe threading, assembly, and maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job Ability to work safely around construction equipment and adhere to safety guidelines Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
