Duties
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and remodeling projects
Support senior plumbers in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
Help with pipe fitting, welding, and assembly tasks as directed by experienced team members
Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Contribute to HVAC system installations and basic mechanical troubleshooting when needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tool management and material handling
Skills
Basic understanding of construction and plumbing principles
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and mechanical systems
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and procedures
Mechanical aptitude with an interest in HVAC systems and general maintenance tasks
Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations
Previous maintenance person or remodeling experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
