As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in various plumbing tasks and techniques. Duties
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Participate in construction site activities, including pipe threading, assembly, and remodeling projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Gain experience in HVAC systems as part of plumbing installations or repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks under supervision to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
Develop proficiency in basic math calculations necessary for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or maintenance person roles is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques is a plus.
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Understanding of carpentry principles can be beneficial for remodeling tasks.
