Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm

Job Summary:

Assist with the set-up and run of required jobs on Folder/Gluer equipment, maintaining good quality, productivity, and work attitude.

:

Assist operator in the operation, set-up and running of required jobs. Maintain standard of quality. Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting manager. Keep work area clean and orderly. Work overtime when needed. Report accurate time and quantities using the "ELF" systems. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience Mechanical aptitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

A good understanding of operating/trouble shooting Valco glue system.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds. Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions. Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation. Demonstrates positive safety attitude.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors. Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Manual dexterity for repetitive work. Frequent walking and standing. Chemicals: N/A Travel: N/A
