Position Summary:

The Apprentice Craftsperson will assist the Master Craftsperson with repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternative fueled district vehicles. Performs preventative maintenance under the guidance of a Craftsperson or Master Craftsperson.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education

Experience:

One (1) year experience in transportation preferred Previous experience as a bus mechanic preferred

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

Must be able to pass a DOT physical Possess or ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL and a Class "B" CDL with Passenger and School bus endorsement and State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, Air brake, and School bus endorsement
