Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects. The role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals on diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, and new builds. Candidates will gain exposure to a wide range of skills such as blueprint reading, framing, finishing, and site preparation, with opportunities for growth and skill advancement.

Duties

Assist with framing, trim carpentry, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work on-site Participate in roofing, siding, and exterior finishing projects including stucco and water damage restoration Help with fixture installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring or tile laying Perform demolition tasks and prepare work areas for new construction or renovation activities Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist in project execution Support heavy lifting tasks and material handling to ensure efficient workflow Assist with plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC systems as needed under supervision Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, or schematics is advantageous Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, or restoration industry tasks is beneficial Previous work involving heavy lifting or working at heights is preferred but not mandatory Strong interest in learning carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry, or metal stud framing Experience in remodeling or renovation projects including flooring installation or tile laying is a plus Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
