We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Baker to join our bakery team. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, bread, and other confections Participate in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients according to recipes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas in compliance with food safety standards Help with food production tasks for catering events or restaurant service as needed Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction Support the team with general kitchen duties including cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations

Experience

Prior experience in baking, or pastry arts is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen work within a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper handling of ingredients is beneficial Previous customer service experience is a plus for engaging with clients and supporting team members Basic knife skills and knowledge of culinary techniques are desirable for efficient food prep A passion for baking, cooking, and the food industry along with a willingness to learn new skills is essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
