Responsibilities
Cultivating meaningful relationships with staff, patients, and their families
Ensuring that everyone feels welcome and comfortable throughout their experience
Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and collecting payments
Using phone and computer to arrange appointments and manage patient schedule
Verifying insurance, submitting claims, and explaining coverage to patients
Providing patients with information about services and treatment plans
Managing patient communication and thank you notes for referrals
Maintaining updated stats and reports for staff and doctors
Assisting with social media accounts, postings, and correspondence
Restocking and ensuring cleanliness of the front office and reception
Contacting and working with vendors and community businesses
Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it
Qualifications

Administrative experience in a medical office with insurance and EMR
Familiarity working with dental software, coding, and billing preferred
