? Phlebotomist - Lexington Park
We're looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Lexington Park. This role involves performing blood draws (including hard sticks and oncology patients), processing specimens, and supporting patients with care and accuracy.
What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture using straight & butterfly needles
• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens
• Ensure accuracy with lab orders and patient records
• Explain procedures clearly and courteously to patients
• Handle specimen storage and transport per protocol
• Support with data entry, calls, and lab inquiries
• Follow OSHA/DEP safety standards and attend annual training

What We're Looking For

• Valid Phlebotomy certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months experience in a fast-paced lab/hospital
• Strong customer service skills; oncology/pediatric/geriatric experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington Park, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
