Applications Analyst (Help Desk)
In this role, you will be responsible for development, configuration, maintenance, and support for essential business applications. These include, but are not limited to, the core banking platform, electronic document storage and retrieval system, report development and data archiving system, retail and business lending systems, third party vendor integration and data extract development, and electronic forms systems.
The primary focus of this position is to provide general application support across a variety of systems and platforms. We are seeking a flexible and adaptable team member who can respond to evolving support needs and assist wherever required. This is a non-specialized role, designed to serve as a versatile resource for day-to-day operational support.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for Credit Union staff with regards to application issues - troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate as needed to provide resolution.
  • Flexible and adaptable in delivering support across multiple applications and business areas, ensuring consistency and responsiveness.
  • Performs Tier I support for essential banking applications, integrated applications, and third party applications.
  • Perform after-hours and weekend system monitoring, response, application upgrades, and system maintenance on a rotating on-call schedule to ensure system security and optimal system performance.
  • Utilizes industry standard tools and specialized custom tools to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new applications, platforms, and tools to stay aligned with evolving industry standards and organization needs.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in computer science, information systems, database management or related areas preferred.
  • Specialized education/training normally acquired up to 18 months with a concentration in computer science, information systems, database management or related area can be substituted for a degree when combined with relevant work experience.
  • Beginning to intermediate level of scripting, programming, and database management preferred.
  • Experience with core banking platforms and applications preferred.
  • Experience with financial institution systems and processes preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products and functionality required.

  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required
