Position: Application Development Module Lead

Location: 2251 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102 (Various unanticipated worksites within the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Create UIM data models to hold and handle various inventory objects such as physical devices, custom objects, and inventory groups; modify software programs to improve performance and write computer programming code such as in Java, WSDL, XSD, Drools, and SQL to enhance UIM and support written code; share knowledge of UIM's API (application programming interface) with internal users, including newly developed and enhanced API to ensure better utilization of UIM as a product and ensure that users understand UIM's complexity in handling service activation; present and communicate UIM web services and data requirements to all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical teams and third-party vendors; create documents for the API on Charter's internal web; and apply knowledge of UIM in connection to Charter's business and activation flows. Train others in computer interface or software use such as training members on how to properly use UIM and other Oracle interfaces to support Charter tools and systems; ensure team understanding of UIM's database scheme so that they can write SQL scripts that can be converted to Fetch and update or purge data from the database; train team members on how to write a REST API wrapper around UIM's core SOAP API; and ensure testing team's understanding of new testing requirements. Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.

Educ./experience:

Bachelor of Business Administration or foreign equivalent with a concentration on Information Technology or related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Module Lead or in a related position working with UIM Cartridge development. Experience must include Development of UIM/OSM Cartridge, Process Modeling, Communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, Oracle Design Studio, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle UIM, Java, SQL , PLSQL. Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States. Salary range: $116,938 - $132,000/year.
