Duties

Perform appliance repairs and maintenance on various household appliances such as refrigeration units, dishwashers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately. Use mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances with precision. Conduct diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment to identify faults quickly. Travel to customer locations using a box truck or similar vehicle to provide on-site service and support. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience. Assist with the assembly or installation of new appliances when required. Maintain detailed service records, including parts used and repairs performed, ensuring accurate documentation for each job. Collaborate with team members in the field to share knowledge and improve service quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician within related fields such as refrigeration or HVAC. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during service visits. Delivery driver experience is preferred for efficient travel between job sites using a box truck or similar vehicle. Familiarity with equipment repair, assembly tasks, and electrical systems enhances your versatility. Field service experience demonstrating self-motivation and problem-solving capabilities is highly valued.
