Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver and Helper to assist in the transportation and delivery of appliances and installations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the delivery team to ensure that products are delivered safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to assemble and install various appliances.

Fridges, Dishwashers, microwaves, ranges, washer, dryers etc

Responsibilities

Assist in loading and unloading appliances from the delivery vehicle, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage. Deliver appliances to customer locations, following established routes and schedules. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process. Assemble and install appliances as needed at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality. Collaborate with the delivery team to maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory. Perform basic troubleshooting on delivered appliances, utilizing mechanical knowledge when necessary. Ensure that the delivery vehicle is maintained in clean and working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

Strong mechanical handy man knowledge, particularly in appliances installation . Familiarity with schematics for efficient assembly and installation of appliances. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction during delivery interactions. Basic electrical knowledge to assist with appliance setup and troubleshooting. Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries. Field service experience is a plus, enhancing problem-solving abilities on-site.
