Job Description

500 &520 Park Avenue Apartments, located in the historic Mount Vernon area of Baltimore, City, is in need of a qualified worker to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Service Technician - 500 Park Avenue Apartments

Location: Mount Vernon, Baltimore City

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation: $21/hour (based on experience)

Service Technician

to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


As a Service Technician at WPM, your primary responsibilities will include responding to maintenance work orders, conducting preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Perform HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance Repair and maintain appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing Hang, prep, and sand drywall Paint apartment units and common areas Maintain grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness Assist with snow removal as needed Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Qualifications:

Demonstrated skills in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry required High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in residential property maintenance Must be available for on-call emergencies (nights, weekends, holidays) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Comfortable working on ladders and lifting up to 85 lbs Strong communication and problem-solving skills
