Job Summary



The A&P Aircraft Mechanic III ensures that all work accomplished is performed in accordance with current FAA-approved technical data. This role adheres to quality maintenance standards in compliance with the Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM) and other applicable manuals such as the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), SRM (Structural Repair Manual), and WDM (Wiring Diagram Manual).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



This is a

safety-sensitive position

subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.

Review work assigned, gather tools/parts, and complete jobs in a timely manner while maintaining safety and quality standards. Accurately complete and sign off all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards. Verify calibrated tooling is current and properly documented. Ensure employee and workplace safety by following environmental health and safety policies. Perform all work in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Return aircraft and components to service. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Education and Experience



High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.

Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience, with at least 3 years on commercial aircraft.

Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, credential verification, and DOT pre-employment drug screening. Depending on location, may be required to obtain airport-issued badges (e.g., SIDA, AOA) through TSA/FBI background checks.

Work Environment



Hangar and ramp settings with exposure to uncontrolled climate conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders or stands. Work may involve continual loud noise. Normal or corrected vision and hearing required.

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
