An international automation machinery company is currently looking for an

AP/ AR Specialist

to join their office in the Novi, MI area. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years' work experience in office environment or manufacturing environment, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

AP/ AR Specialist Responsibilities Include:

Assisting some accounting duties including bookkeeping and reporting Processing wage garnishments Account Payable and Account Receivable duties Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable by depositing checks and preparing invoices Support any administrative tasks Perform other duties related payroll and/or accounting as assigned

AP/ AR Specialist Requirements Include:

Must have at least an Associate's Degree in Accounting 1-3 years' experience in accounting assistant role is strongly preferred. Any knowledge of Japanese language is a big plus Experience with Data Entry is also preferred. Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Organizational and time management ability This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
