High school graduate or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred; college credits with office skills training or equivalent business school training preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative secretarial experience; experience in public education settings preferred.
Knowledge of school district organization, operations, and administrative policies, procedures, and business practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Apps), calendar management tools, and other office productivity and technology tools (eFinance, eSchoolPlus, PowerSchool Registration).
Effective verbal (receptive and expressive) and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, detail-oriented, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to problem solve a wide variety of complex and confidential matters.
Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and manage time with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
Prior experience with student information systems.
Must have a high level of integrity and confidentiality regarding student records, employment records, and campus issues.
Notary Public (recommended).

SALARY/PAY GRADE:
$39,742/CP-6 as approved by the Board of Trustees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain office of Director of General Administration in an efficient and organized manner.
Perform general secretarial duties including correspondence, filing, and phone activity.
Assist the community, campus personnel, and district administrators with questions regarding all duties assigned to the office of General Administration.
Assist with district elections.
Assist with all aspects of Tuition-Based Pre-K enrollment and billing.
Order supplies, process purchase orders, and maintain budget accounts for the department.
Maintain weekly calendar for Director of General Administration.
Maintain portable inventory and assist with annual portable request process.
Manage and maintain files for district fundraising vendors.
Manage and maintain files for all CFISD booster clubs.
Assist Facilities Use office with payroll.
Coordinate the annual CFISD Fundraising Vendor Fair.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of General Administration.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; occasional use of pallet jack to move pallets.
