We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Technician to join our m. This role inteam.volves providing high-quality care for a variety of animals, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in animal husbandry, veterinary assistance, or related fields, and possess a strong understanding of animal physiology and handling techniques. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to animal health and welfare in a dynamic clinical setting.

Duties

Feed and provide medication if needed, all animals following the instructions on the care white boards.

Bathe animals, as needed.

Observe animal handling rules as outlined by NFSAW policies.

Walk dogs and/or perform exercise activities with the dogs.

Perform other cleaning duties in the kitchen, bathroom, medical room, and office.

Provide a positive customer service experience with clients, volunteers, and visitors.

Assist with animal intake, follow intake protocols, and if necessary, take animals to the vet.

Assist with inventory.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 - 25.0 per week
