We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Animal Care Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care for a variety of animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort at Atlanta Safari Park.
Duties
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and observations.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to managment.
Assist with animal restraint during examinations and treatments.
Administer medications as directed by veterinary professionals.
Engage with guests to provide educational opportunities and engagment.
Ensure guests are interacting with animals on the drive through portion in accordance with park rules.
Requirements
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to pass background check.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
