Job Overview

We are seeking a

detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Developer

with strong hands-on experience in

Angular, Node.js and PostgreSQL

, along with experience supporting

Child Support, Child Welfare, or other Human Services case-management applications

.



In this role, you will support and enhance scalable, high-performance web applications used in statewide programs including child support, adult services, and social services operations. You will work across the

full development stack

-- from front-end UI components to backend API services and databases.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain applications used for

Child Support, Child Welfare, or Human Services case processing

Diagnose and resolve

production data issues

, ensuring accuracy and system integrity Maintain and enhance responsive UI components using

Angular (v12+)

and

TypeScript

Build, optimize, and troubleshoot

RESTful APIs

Manage PostgreSQL schemas, develop queries, and perform database optimization Ensure application responsiveness, browser compatibility, and high-performance standards Write clean, well-documented, and testable code Participate in

code reviews

, Agile ceremonies, and release planning Integrate external APIs and services as needed
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless system functionality

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

(Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field) and

8-10 years of equivalent programming experience

8-10+ years of professional experience

in software development Strong hands-on experience with +

Angular (v12 or newer)

+

Node.js

Experience supporting or developing systems for

Child Support

Child Welfare

,

Adult Services

, or similar Human Services programs Solid understanding of

HTML5, CSS3

, and responsive design Experience with

REST API development

, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

Experience with

Docker

Experience working on systems related to

Child Support Enforcement (CSE)

application Knowledge of

or other cloud platforms Familiarity with

OAuth2 / JWT
