Job Description

Summary





The Analytics & Impact Program Manager oversees the implementation, data collection, and evaluation of a portfolio of grant programs designed to support the early childhood education workforce in Vermont. This role manages grant operations, programmatic reporting, and outreach efforts that support meaningful outcomes for participants. The Program Manager supervises an Administrative Coordinator and ensures grant programs are delivered efficiently, equitably, and in alignment with organizational goals.



Duties





1. Grant Program Management



Manage a portfolio of grant programs from application through closeout Collaborate with the Director of Analytics & Impact to inform strategies to meet organizational and participant needs. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and resources to support successful participation and compliance. Coordinate outreach activities for grant program portfolio to ensure accessibility to early childhood educators and their programs.


2. Reporting and Communication



Prepare comprehensive reports for funders, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with funding requirements. Translate data into clear narratives and summaries that inform decision-making and program improvements. Collaborate with state partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication. Communicate program updates and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and other materials.


3. Program Development and Management



Inform the creation and continuous improvement of program materials, systems, and processes. Ensure equitable access to program benefits, with targeted outreach to under-represented communities. Attend to data management systems to maintain accurate records, track outcomes, and support reporting needs. Support audits, reviews, and continuous learning related to grant management and program delivery


4. Supervision & Team Leadership



Supervise the Administrative Coordinator, providing guidance, training, and support for individualized goals. Delegate administrative, outreach, and reporting tasks to ensure timely program operations Collaborate with advisory councils, state partners, and internal teams to ensure programs align with state initiatives and best practices. Foster a collaborative, service-oriented and impact-driven team culture.

Requirements





EDUCATION & TRAINING



Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Grant Management or related experience Knowledge of Vermont's early childhood education agency infrastructure Proficiency in cloud-based systems and grant database management.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS



Flexible work location within Vermont

; work remotely from home or in VTAEYC's shared office in Washington County

Hours

: primarily daytime, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required

Travel

: Some travel in-state will be required. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasional standing, bending, or light lifting of materials up to 20 pounds Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to read data, use a computer, and engage in meetings.
