Analytical Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

\xc2\xb7Provides support to run analytical methods necessary for the characterization and release of the drug substance and drug product

\xc2\xb7May provide support in purification laboratory to verify mass and purity of purified materials using LC/MS in high throughput environment.

\xc2\xb7Conducts various experiments, primarily HPLC and GC, but may include water content, dissolution testing, and residual solvents

\xc2\xb7Performs set up and analyzing stability samples of development and clinical supplies

\xc2\xb7Documentation and reporting of results

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Chemistry
• Experience conducting HPLC, GC, and dissolution experiments
• Industry experience with HPLC is required
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and training
• At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience
• Ability to work with beta-lactams including cephalosporins and penicillins
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with variation and overtime as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Kalamazoo, MI are encouraged to apply.
