Job Description


The Analyst, Client & Technical Services, is responsible for maintaining direct communication with internal departments, productions, and external clients and tenants operating at SPE facilities to ensure smooth operations and meet the client\'s specifications and needs. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining standards, increasing efficiency, and serving as global lead for the administration of badging, access, and Security, Safety, & Sustainability (S3) service fulfillment. Responsibilities Client Services, Global:

  • Liaise with business unit leaders and department heads to establish security requirements for tenant space.
  • Document unique operational requirements and edge cases.
  • Consult with tenants on appropriate security solutions.
  • Collaborate with S3 and Facilities colleagues to achieve security solutions for stakeholders; through collaboration, define solutions that incorporate guard/patrol services, facility and infrastructure design, and security technology.
  • Lead engagement with external production and event clients through SPE lines of business including Studio Operations, Sound/Post Production, Studio Services, MPG, and SPT Business Affairs; advise clients on S3 policies and services; establish client requirements and deploy solutions.
  • Advise, as appropriate, on security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain professional relationships with productions, vendors, consultants, and corporate industry peers.
Change Management, Culver City:
  • Monitor and track production and client activity; provide forecasts of activity to security and parking operational leads to streamline demand management and scalability of services.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Design and Project Management team to forecast the operational impact of construction; engage security and parking operations leads to manage logistical needs and staffing requirements.
  • Consult with business unit contacts on security requirements for construction build-outs; collaborate with Security Technology team to ensure compliance to standards and feasibility of administration and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Administration on relocations; consult with tenant move captains to ensure a seamless transition of access, parking, and patrol services.
  • Maintain ownership and manage business resumption process by collaborating with P&O to ensure employees are receiving proper notifications and materials for returning to work.
  • Work as part of the Pandemic Management team by providing information regarding positive COVID cases on Sony\xe2\x80\x99s Culver City properties.
  • Manage various SharePoint lists and shared Teams files, and coordinate with multiple departments to gather accurate information.
Security Operations Administration, Global:
  • Ensure compliance to Sony policies, standards, and guidelines regarding physical access, including the issuance of badges, provisioning of access, collection and deactivation of credentials, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for S3 to Studio Service Center team.
  • Maintain an eye on incoming Studio Service Center (SSC) security requests and ensure they are processed promptly and appropriately.
  • Create organized workflow and processes for SSC representatives to fulfill routine S3 service requests and escalate complex service requests and issues to the appropriate S3 team.
  • Collaborate with S3 peers to establish and maintain SLAs for S3 service fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and SSC teams to continue migrating routine service requests to self-service portals where possible and to SSC for additional assistance or when self-service tools are unavailable.
  • Consult with S3 Communications resources to market security services and provide critical employee communications regarding disruption to operations or services.
  • Communicate with Investigation Services and manage the Studio Watchlist.
  • Triage feedback from VisitSPE users, collaborate with IT and vendor to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
  • Set up users and productions in VisitSPE and provide the necessary training to stakeholders.
  • Take lead of the Self-Service VisitSPE rollout.
  • Work closely with the Security Technology team to ensure card reader hardware is working correctly, troubleshoot, and escalate if needed.
  • Configuration administration for OnGuard including card reader schedules, global badging and access management.
  • Manage onboarding for Sony affiliated companies
  • Participate in and manage special projects as needed
  • Complete additional tasks and assignments as needed
Requirements
  • BA required
  • Security and parking operations knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of motion picture and television production logistics
  • Special event logistics experience preferred
  • Security technology knowledge such as access control and visitor management systems
  • Knowledge of industry trends, products, and services
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills with standard MS Office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Proficiency with SPE data systems and tools such as Sailpoint, Archibus, OnGuard, ServiceNow, Traction Guest, Tableau, etc.
  • Comfortable learning new systems
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 communication with high-level stakeholders and VIP clients
  • Project management

The anticipated base salary for this position is $59,600-$78,200. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
