Job Description

Position Summary



Responsible for managing the overall operation of the store, including tool rental, merchandise sales, inventory control, shipping and receiving, administrative and financial operations, safety, and merchandising. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures while driving store performance and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities



Plan and execute actions to achieve store rental revenue, sales, and profitability goals Analyze store financials to support planning and decision-making that drive performance Manage all phases of store opening and closing procedures Plan inventory using available tools and judgment to maintain proper stock levels based on market demand Ensure the store is properly stocked, merchandised, and organized Oversee proper cash handling, including balancing cash and credit card receipts and making bank deposits Gather customer feedback to inform merchandise selection and product offerings Participate in testing and providing feedback on company initiatives as requested Merchandise products and organize the showroom and rear warehouse for safe and efficient material handling Deliver excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships to drive repeat rentals and sales Generate revenue growth through effective marketing of Ames automatic taping tools, parts, and equipment, including add-on sales Recommend ideas and request support from Regional Management to drive business growth Identify and propose opportunities for continuous improvement within the store and the organization Box and ship tools to the repair center and receive tool and merchandise shipments into inventory Process sales and rentals using computer systems Perform collection duties as assigned Perform daily operational tasks including customer service, order processing, merchandising, inventory and tool audits, housekeeping, database updates, cash handling, loss prevention, and continuous improvement activities Coordinate with the repair center regarding tool quality issues and shipment timelines Supervise Assistant Store Managers, Store Associates, and Delivery Drivers when assigned Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications



High school diploma or GED with four or more years of related experience Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable transportation required Ability to travel as required for business needs Supervisory experience preferred, including training, assigning work, and resolving issues in accordance with company policies

Physical Requirements



Regular use of hands for handling, fingering, talking, and hearing Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Regular lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds Occasional lifting and moving of up to 100 pounds Ability to use vision for POS systems, inventory handling, customer assistance, and computer work Ability to hear and speak clearly with customers, vendors, and support teams Work environment noise level is typically moderate Incentive Pay: Eligible to participate in the Company's Incentive Plan based on individual and company performance
