Job Description

The Loaves and Fishes Community Meal is a non-profit organization committed to serving Cache Valley and its residents with a mission of bringing our diverse community together around a common table to provide a meal that nourishes body and spirit through relationship, service, and fellowship. We serve community meals twice a month in Logan, Utah. Whether for food or friendship or philanthropy, the meals bring people from all faiths and backgrounds together and facilitate interaction between people who would otherwise never have the opportunity to meet.

Member Duties :

o Help organize bi-monthly community meals (the first and third Saturday of every month), which may include meal preparation, setup, cleanup, and/or volunteer and participant management during meals. o Drive to local businesses and non-profits to collect donated food items. o Assist in volunteer and educational partner recruitment and management. o Assist in non-profit management, including email communications, social media postings, and donation tracking. o Attend Loaves and Fishes Board meetings to report to the Board (one Wednesday evening per month). o Attend community events. o Assist in financial tracking and reporting. o Solicit donations of grants or gift cards (no more than 10% of overall time).
