. Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Bloomington Primary Care's leadership team in the role of Ambulatory Clinical Operations Manager- Primary Care.


This position exists to manage the daily operations of patient care and resources in a defined patient care program, area or clinic. The scope of accountability for the specific responsibilities varies related to individual unit and program needs.

Direct Reports: Practice Operations Manager

Candidate Qualifications




Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

Requires knowledge in business applications. Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources. Requires knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Requires knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and development levels of the patients served. Requires ability to facilitate and lead work groups. Requires ability to apply the organization personnel policies and procedures. Requires effective written and verbal communication skills. Requires strong customer service skills. Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships. Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives. Requires a high level of interpersonal; problem solving and analytical skills. Requires Bachelors degree in Nursing at time of hire effective February 24, 2013. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Basic Life Support certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
