POSITION: Ambassador

DEPARTMENT: Solid Waste

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing guidance and assistance to the general public as needed, ensure solid waste and recyclables are properly deposited, maintain the site, maintain accurate records, open and close the site, inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance duties, and operate various equipment and machinery along with other duties as required/needed.

Requirements:

One (1) year of Recycling experience and One (1) year customer service experience Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time Ability to work safely Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
