AIM Academy is an alternative education program within Randolph High School. The Math teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.The ideal candidate will: Collaborate with school personnel, parents and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions and planning curriculum.Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.Promote equity and appreciation of diversityMaintain classroom management and consistently implement the AIM Behavior Level System.Promote high standards and expectations for student achievementPlan and deliver effective instruction according to MA curriculum frameworks.Execute the subject matter knowledge requirements specific for High School Special Education TeachersAddress the human growth and development, physical, emotional/mental, social, intellectual, and moral issuesPlan, organize, and implement an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified with cognitive and social deficits that affect their learning to enable them to achieve their maximum potential*Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components.Terms: Consistent with the Randolph Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement
