We operate manufacturing and technical facilities across multiple countries. We have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Operator to join our team in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Duties include but not limited to operating a forklift, maintaining and putting away electrical inventory, moving parts, housekeeping, and supporting the assembly floor to help increase the quality level efficiency.



Key Responsibilities Include:


Put away electrical supplies and keep area neat and clean Empty cardboard and wood dumpsters Perform housekeeping duties as assigned Assist in preparation of equipment for shipment Sort and organize parts on the assembly floor Keep assembly floor areas clean and organized Assist assembly floor area personnel in any other job deemed necessary by a lead man or supervisor Operate power sweeping / washing equipment Perform material handling duties as assigned Take instruction and direction on work and related work assignments from supervision and or lead man Must be willing to assist other employees in all types of extrusion equipment Demonstrate the flexibility to work in all departments and on all types of extrusion equipment in a productive and efficient manner Work overtime as required to meet the needs of production schedules Always a self starter, self sufficient and motivated and strives for improvements

Requirements:


High school or technical school diploma Experience in a Manufacturing Facility Fork truck certification Ability to follow safety protocol
