Duties



As an Airport Cashier at Good Earth Markets, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes travelers looking for healthy meals, snacks, and essentials on the go. You'll enjoy handling checkout transactions with accuracy and speed, providing excellent customer service, and keeping the front-end area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Because this is an airport location, you'll thrive in a

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys having fun while working, connecting with people, staying busy, and sharing the benefits of natural foods even during travel days.

Requirements



1+ years of

retail experience

, airport, or quick-service retail is helpful Ability to effectively communicate and sell products to customers Run a cash register/POS system Demonstrate selling experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented retail setting Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-hours of operation 6:00am-11:00pm, including weekends and holidays Ability to pass the Federal Criminal history record check and I-9. Heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), restocking shelves, inventory, standing for long periods of time, climbing, and bending

Responsibilities



Welcome and assist customers

in a warm, helpful, and health-focused manner. Utilize retail math skills to

manage inventory and accurately process transactions,

including cash, credit, mobile payments, and returns

Open and/or close the store

as scheduled: set up registers, count drawers, secure cash and alarms.

Maintain a clean, organized front-end area-

including stocking impulse items, bagging supplies, and keeping counters tidy

Follow all airport and company security procedures

for cash handling and restricted-access areas

Drive retail sales

by understanding customer needs and recommending products

Support teammates

by assisting with light stocking, facing shelves, and rotation as needed Bilingual proficiency is a plus to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base

Deliver excellent customer service

in a fast-paced airport environment, resolving minor concerns promptly or referring to a supervisor when needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
