We are seeking a skilled, Aircraft Structures Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as a structures mechanic working in a heavy maintenance environment (MRO) on fixed wing aircraft (commercial experience is highly preferred). This is a long-term/permanent career opportunity - NOT a short term contract.
If you are an UNLICENSED Structures Mechanic, 7+ years of experience is required. If you have an active Airframe License (A License) only 3 years of experience is required
Duties
:
Inspection and diagnosis:
Examine aircraft structures for defects, hidden damage, and wear using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
Repair and maintenance:
Perform both minor and complex structural repairs on components like wings, fuselage, and airframes. This includes working with composite materials and may involve assisting with welding fixtures.
Component management:
Remove and install aircraft components, and replace defective parts.
Fabrication and modification:
Fabricate or modify structural parts to meet repair specifications.
Documentation:
Read and interpret manufacturers' instructions, and maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Quality assurance:
Ensure all completed work meets performance and safety standards through quality control checks.
General support:
May involve operating ground support equipment and assisting with maintenance at off-site locations.
Work closely with a team of mechanics and supervisors to find efficient solutions.
Handle a variety of day-to-day challenges as they arise.
May assist with hydraulic and other mechanical systems as part of the overall maintenance effort.

Must be able to provide your own
tools
Must be able to pass a structures assessment prior to starting work
Must be able to pass a drug screen & 10 year criminal history background check
Must be able to commute to or relocate to the Bridgeport, WV area prior to starting work (per diem & 30 days of housing is provided to those relocating - see "employment details" below)
Must be able to start work within 4 weeks of completing this application
Must be able to work assigned shift (see "Employment Details" below)
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must be located in the US AND be Eligible/Authorized to work in the US WITHOUT VISA SPONSORSHIP
Employment Details:
Compensation:
$37/hr
Overtime:
UNLIMITED (Most work 52-60hrs a week)
Per Diem:
Up to $880/week in tax free per diem - available to those who qualify
Relocation Assistance:
30 days of housing is provided to those who are relocating
Tools:
Basic tools are required day 1 (tool list available once you complete this application)

Sun-Tues + every other Wed (6:30 AM)
