Job Overview


This position is strictly a contractor (1099) position for GT Global Aviation Services, Inc. We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician with Boeing 767 experience to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft systems and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Position pays $300-400 per day based on experience.

Perform Line maintenance (On-call and Scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft. Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases returning aircraft to service Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with the air carrier, GT Global and FAA requirements Troubleshoot systems; disassembles, repairs, and reassembles sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to technical data provided by the customer Maintain work area, tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions Collaborate with the air carrier maintenance control center

Requirements



Airframe and Powerplant license Valid Driver License High school diploma or GED Able to pass a criminal history background check. 2+ yrs 767 experience required with Gen Fam. Prefer 2 years proven Line Maintenance experience. Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and their application in maintenance practices. Collaborate with the air carrier maintenance control center. Maintain work area, tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to aircraft systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
