Job Description

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Aircraft Inspector III to join our client's team in Maryland or Colorado. Our client is a leading firm in the Aerospace and Defense industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of advanced aircraft.
Responsibilities of the Aircraft Inspector III:

  • Inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts for airworthiness and conformance to specifications.
  • Identify and document any breaches of airworthiness standards.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections on minor (non-337 form) work.
  • Approve minor (non-337 form) work for return to service.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve inspection findings and ensure compliance.
Qualifications of the Aircraft Inspector III:
  • Must hold an active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft inspection or maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts.
  • Proficiency in Basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with 14 CFR Chapter 1 and FAA Repair Station operations (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and visual acuity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
