If you are a seasoned aircraft inspection professional looking to make an impact in a meaningful environment that supports and protects heroes, join our team! As an Aircraft Inspector III, you will be using your skills and expertise to inspect our aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations. You'll be responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Your inspection authority will include all in-process inspections, final inspection of minor work (non-337 form), and approval for return to service of minor work (non-337 form).

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience

+ A higher level degree may substitute for experience
+ Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification Previous experience as an aircraft inspector in a part 145 repair station or MRO Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts Understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1 Understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations. Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $30.35 - $41.73. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
