As an Aircraft Electrician, you will play a critical role in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems across multiple aircraft platforms. This is a great opportunity for experienced technicians or transitioning veterans with strong O- and I-level electrician backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical and electronic systems
Perform
O-level and I-level hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance
of flight systems, landing gear, fuel indicators, lighting, and power generation systems
Install, check, and rewire electrical systems on fixed-wing aircraft
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct operational checks of flight systems and avionics equipment upon aircraft arrival and prior to departure
Maintain batteries and electrical shop equipment in proper working order
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of aircraft electrician experience required
Previous professional experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft electrical/electronic systems
Must be able to read and interpret
blueprints and wiring diagrams
O-level, flight systems, and fixed-wing hands-on experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
FCC license or valid FAA A&P license preferred (not required)
Previous
Business Jet or Military fixed-wing aircraft
experience highly desirable
Skilled in troubleshooting landing gear, flight controls, fuel indication systems, and lighting/electrical generation systems
Additional avionics installation or modification experience a plus
