Job Description

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer II to join our client's team in Maryland or Colorado. Our client is a leading aerospace and defense technology firm. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to design and create groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer II:

  • Research, design, develop, and test cutting-edge aerospace and defense products and services.
  • Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and integrate multi-disciplinary systems.
  • Deploy and improve advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, and fully integrated aircraft systems.
Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer II:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
  • 2 or more years of hands-on experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles, practices, and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
  • Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD, or others.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) and aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Technical creativity and strong problem-solving abilities.
