Summary:
Entry Level Technician Position - Responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Deflate tires. Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires. Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent based machine. Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions. Assists other departments when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
